About The Position

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in Ann Arbor, MI, is actively seeking a full-time Lead Carpenter Apprentice to assist with residential remodeling projects and Home Services work, including warranty, small remodels, and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity to grow carpentry skills while learning the ins and outs of project management. DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is a complete design-to-build interior remodeling company that has provided high-quality services to the Ann Arbor area since 2003. They handle everything from initial design to final construction and warranty, focusing exclusively on interior remodeling. The company also provides Home Services support for existing and new clients, including warranty work, small upgrades, and repair services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of residential carpentry experience
  • Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling practices, tools, and safety
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks required, including lifting up to 80 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Complete Home Services work including warranty repairs, small-scale remodels, and general carpentry tasks.
  • Support both design-build remodeling and Home Services projects as assigned.
  • Communicate daily with clients and team members as needed to support project flow.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and client home environment.
  • Complete daily time tracking and assist with change order documentation.
  • Communicate project concerns to the Senior Carpenter or Production Manager as needed.
