About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is inviting experienced Lead Caregivers to apply! We are looking to expand our Caregiver family and hire someone who can work collaboratively with our clients, caregivers, and other office staff. The ideal candidate will be kind, compassionate, dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced as a CNA or Med Tech. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for 27 years, and we value nurturing relationships with our clients and caregivers. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Lead Caregiver plays a crucial role in supporting the company's goals of providing our clients with the continuity of care they deserve. This includes onsite training for caregivers when they start their shifts. The Lead Caregiver will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will work every other weekend. At the time of hiring, the Lead Caregiver and the office will collaborate to establish a schedule that ensures the fulfillment of caregiving duties, with a guaranteed weekly commitment of 30-40 hours. Key responsibilities include fulfilling shifts that are open due to call-offs, starting new cases with caregivers to ensure they understand the Care Plan, training current caregivers on cases requiring additional support, and conducting quality check-in visits on cases recommended by the Care Coordinator. The Lead Caregiver will also be responsible for reporting all notes from the previous week to the Care Coordinator no later than Monday of the new week, ensuring positive feedback from both client and caregiver interactions.
