About The Position

The Lead Caregiver plays a key role in supporting field operations and ensuring quality care for clients. This position involves mentoring and supervising caregivers, conducting quality assurance visits, assisting with coverage of open shifts, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule. Travel within assigned service locations is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a professional caregiver or in a similar healthcare role.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel within assigned service locations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Flexible and reliable with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and needs.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Must provide at least one professional reference.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct supervisory and quality assurance visits in client homes.
  • Observe and evaluate caregiver performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure company standards are met.
  • Complete documentation and submit reports from supervisory visits promptly.
  • Assist with covering open shifts or last-minute call-offs as needed.
  • Maintain communication with the Field Care Manager regarding caregiver or client concerns.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours needs.
  • Support caregiver training, mentoring, and orientation as directed.
  • Promote a professional, positive, and team-focused work environment.
  • Ensure all client care follows the established service plan and company policies.
