About The Position

Qualicare Home Care is launching a Lead Caregiver role for an exceptional professional who will help define and elevate the care experience for every new client we serve. This is not a typical caregiver position. It’s a leadership role for someone who wants stability, responsibility, and the opportunity to set the standard. As a Lead Caregiver, you are the foundation of each new care relationship. You will: Start care with every new client and establish routines Oversee smooth caregiver transitions into long-term assignments Set expectations and model exceptional care Provide oversight and feedback to caregivers in the home Complete supervisory visits and support care quality Fill open shifts and provide coverage when needed Assist with training, mentoring, and light administrative support in the office Serve as a trusted resource for both clients and caregivers You are not just providing care — you are shaping the experience.

Requirements

  • A rockstar caregiver with strong experience and confidence
  • Dependable, flexible, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable stepping into new homes and new situations
  • Excellent communicator with clients, families, and team members
  • Reliable transportation and smartphone access required
  • Willing to travel throughout the Greater Austin area

Nice To Haves

  • CNA preferred (or equivalent hands-on caregiving experience)
