About The Position

Could you be our next Lead Sonographer at Riddle Hospital? As a Lead Sonographer with Main Line Health, you will provide technical supervision of personnel assigned to perform ultrasound studies specific to radiology, echocardiography and/or vascular. You will monitor workflow and all technical aspects of an ultrasound area to ensure smooth daily workflows. Additionally, you will monitor equipment issues, supplies and participate in the Quality Improvement Plan. You will be competent to perform ultrasound studies pertinent to your lead role (radiology, echo, or vascular) to patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Three years experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.
• Experience in vascular ultrasound preferred.
• Graduate of JRCERT approved program or 3 years of experience in an institution with a specialized cardiac diagnostic lab.
• ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification required within 1 year of hire.
