About The Position

The Lead tech is an expert resource for sonographers, students, and physicians. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues and IT concerns, assisting with changing and canceling orders, scanning and measurements, attending trainings and leadership meetings, leading daily huddles, helping with staff interviews and coordinating shadow experiences, gathering necessary data, and submitting ICAEL accreditation survey for renewal periods. The role also involves overseeing department scheduling and daily workflows of scheduled staff and students.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience performing echocardiography and vascular imaging preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• RDCS or RCS required
• AE, FE, or PE preferred
• Graduate of formal cardiac sonography training program highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound techniques, principles and procedures
• Competence with equipment preferred
• BLS/CPR must be obtained/maintained
