About The Position

The Lead Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for the supervision of inpatient and outpatient staff sonographers. This includes the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect care of patients in the echocardiography laboratories for both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• Registry or Certification from a two-year allied health program.
• Registered Adult Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and/or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI).
• At least one year of experience required.
• BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) – required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited Ultrasound program preferred.
• Active member of ASE preferred.
