About The Position

Seasonal/temporary position from May - August 2026. Responsibilities: Assists Recreation Program Manager in the creation of daily camp agendas and assists with special projects including Family Programming. Communicates daily with parents/guardians of campers. Creates policies and procedures for the implementation of the assigned programs, activities and week-long schedules for and attendees. Responsible for the cleanliness, care and safety of all related areas.

Requirements

• CPR/AED certified (can obtain upon hire)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Sound physical condition to be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Required to work Memorial Day & the Fourth of July

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ experience working with children in a camp or recreation setting preferred
• Students pursuing a Recreation or related degree preferred
• Current lifeguard certification preferred, but not required
