About The Position
Whole House Cabinetry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cabinet Installer to join our team in Woodbury, MN. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. As a Lead Cabinet Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of custom cabinetry for both residential and commercial projects. Our company is a rapidly growing, family-owned custom cabinetry shop based out of Rosemount, MN, dedicated to building, finishing, and installing high-quality, handcrafted cabinets for homes across Minnesota and commercial buildings throughout the Midwest. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations and ensuring that all installations meet our high standards of quality. You will interpret CAD drawings and design specifications to accurately install cabinet projects, which include wall cabinets, base cabinets, and vanities. Your expertise will be essential in adjusting and aligning cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware, as well as installing laminate countertops for commercial projects. The position may require travel and the ability to work beyond normal business hours for installations that are out of state or more than two hours away. You will also provide technical support to other members of the cabinet installation team, select appropriate tools and methods for each project, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Conducting quality inspections at various stages of installation will be part of your responsibilities to ensure that craftsmanship standards are met and any defects are promptly addressed. Your problem-solving skills will be vital in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the installation process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of our clients.
