About The Position

The Leadership Recruiting team discovers and hires senior talent that enables DoorDash’s next stage of growth. We partner closely with executives across all non-technical organizations to build diverse, high-impact leadership teams that accelerate our company’s ability to operate, scale, and innovate. Our team leads some of the most strategic and complex searches at DoorDash and plays a critical role in shaping the future of our business. In this role, you will lead Director-level searches across all Non-Technical functions, including G&A, Sales, Strategy & Operations, and CXI. You will own full-cycle leadership recruiting: developing inclusive search strategies, advising senior stakeholders, and cultivating long-term relationships with top talent in the market. In your first 90 days, you will begin managing a portfolio of active searches, build trust with key executives, and establish rigorous operating mechanisms for search execution. Success in this role is defined by exceptional search quality, trusted partnerships, and consistent delivery against our most critical hiring needs.

Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years focused on Director-level hiring across non-technical domains (e.g., G&A, Sales, Strategy & Ops, CXI).
  • You bring strong client management skills and can influence and guide senior leaders through complex and competitive search processes.
  • You are a talent advisor who leverages market intelligence, structured assessment, and external networks to shape hiring strategies and outcomes.
  • You have a proven ability to build long-term relationships with senior candidates and facilitate meaningful engagement between talent and DoorDash leadership.
  • You excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and bring strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills that drive impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of Director-level searches across G&A, Sales, Strategy & Operations, and CXI, designing and executing consistent and inclusive search strategies.
  • Serve as a thought partner and talent advisor to senior leaders, leveraging market insights, competitive intelligence, and deep functional knowledge to influence hiring decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong external talent networks, proactively engaging and nurturing leadership candidates for current and future roles.
  • Partner cross-functionally with executive stakeholders, recruiting operations, and sourcers to ensure a high bar for search execution and candidate experience.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Leadership Recruiting function, improving processes, tools, and best practices that enable team-wide excellence.
