About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to support Business Resiliency. The Business Resiliency team is responsible for maintaining business continuity plans that allow Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) to continue to operate in the event of a disaster. The Lead Business Execution Consultant works with assigned business units and is responsible for executing and administering the Enterprise Business Resiliency program, including but not limited to, conducting Business Impact Analysis and planning and documenting Exercises. Develops testing strategies and methodologies; evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; analyzes business and/or systems changes to determine impact; identifies and assesses operational risk issues. Identifies training opportunities; may design/coordinate the development of training materials and deliver training. Reports findings and drafts recommendations to mitigate risk to business line management. Coordinates production of periodic operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended strategies. May manage projects and provide guidance to less experienced consultants. This role would also support incidents that are impacting WIM business and/or customers by analyzing data from reports and business leads to assess scope of impacts. This may include participating in Enterprise calls to report WIM status and actions that are being executed to mitigate impact; utilizing data to update event-specific playbooks; supporting WIM Technology during annual data center exercises. In this role, you will: Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group Provide subject matter expertise in line of business policies/procedures related to business continuity planning activities Maintain and enhance strong relationships with a variety of partner groups (e.g. EBR, EIM, Control teams, and WIM business leaders.) in support of BCP Serve as BCP subject matter expert for new business product capabilities (RANBI) and Third-Party Inherent Risk Questionnaire (IRQ) Support Resolution/Recovery Planning in cooperating with leaders Partner with GDE and complete Process Risk/Control assessments for offshore process activities Coordinate WIM impact reporting for leadership. This involves documenting impacts and response of severe weather, fire, earthquakes, security incidents, etc. Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to stakeholders and ensure activities are in compliance with governing requirements Monitor Business Continuity Plans in order to identify changes and trends, respond to credible challenges received ensuring completeness and attention to detail, escalate any concerns related to the program and tasks to management in a timely and clear manner

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the Enterprise Resiliency Certification (ERC).
  • Follow enterprise guidelines related to in-person office work schedule.
  • Currently, hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in-person/week) - this is subject to change in the future
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
