As a Lead Building Engineer within Corporate Advisory & Solutions, you’ll be responsible for, overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of building systems, ensuring efficient and safe building performance while supervising engineering staff and contractors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor the operating condition of all HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment. Coordinate preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for the building. Oversee service contractors while ensuring compliance with building standards. Supervise and mentor junior Engineers and Technicians; assist in setting staff performance goals and evaluating progress. Collaborate with tenants, contractors, and property managers to ensure reliable building operations and resolve tenant issues. As assigned, work with vendors to identify scopes of work and oversee compliance with contract terms and quality control. Conduct regular building inspections and proactively address deficiencies Manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure they are executed effectively. Record equipment readings and ensure assigned building systems are operating according to standards. Follow company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE; ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFC, NFPA regulations; report safety hazards; participate in safety inspections; ensure all staff follow safety protocols and comply with building codes and regulations; oversee safety training and maintain compliance logs. Communicate verbally and in writing with teammates, leadership team, vendors, tenants, and client employees in a professional manner, keeping the appropriate customer(s) informed/updated as needed.
