Lead BSS Engineer - REMOTE

This role is vital in configuring, integrating, and maintaining core Business Support Systems critical for service delivery and billing operations. You will focus on ensuring platform reliability while automating workflows across various tools such as Salesforce and Netcracker. Your contributions will support the organizational goal of providing seamless service to customers, allowing for improved efficiency and performance across departments. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with BSS/OSS platforms in telecom or ISP environments.
- Strong knowledge of provisioning systems (e.g., Symphonic, Alianza).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Netcracker, Domo or similar platforms.
- Experience with IP networking fundamentals (DHCP, RADIUS, DNS).
- Intermediate to expert level experience with scripting (Python, Bash, SQL).
- Strong understanding of data flows and ETL processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work across departments.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain BSS platforms including CRM, billing, and provisioning systems.
- Integrate and enhance internal systems and third-party applications using APIs and middleware.
- Automate service provisioning and billing workflows for broadband and IPTV services.
- Ensure data integrity and synchronization between various platforms.
- Troubleshoot system-level issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to implement effective business workflows.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and the implementation of BSS tools.
- Assist in system architecture design and performance optimization efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and change logs of systems.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and system upgrades as needed.
