About The Position
As a Patient Billing Resolution Specialist, you will provide extraordinary care to our customers through friendly, courteous, and professional service. This role requires a broad understanding of account handling processes, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and accurate manner. You will work directly with patients to resolve billing issues presented at the care site or clinics, investigate issues by reviewing data in Epic and relevant bolt-on systems, and communicate directly with patients or designated family members. Additionally, you will collect and process payments, explain the billing processes and procedures of SCL Health, and develop and maintain relationships with Revenue Service Center personnel in various areas impacting the patient billing experience.
