About The Position

We are looking for a Behavioral Health QA Clinician to join our new Quality function and help shape the future of clinical quality and compliance at Brellium. In this founding role, you’ll serve as the clinical quality leader for behavioral health — partnering directly with customer QA teams, Brellium engineers, and executive stakeholders to elevate documentation accuracy, compliance, and clinical integrity across the behavioral health ecosystem. You’ll use Brellium’s AI-driven insights to identify patterns in provider documentation, design improvement plans, and guide organizations through operational change. This role blends hands-on clinical expertise with systems-level thinking — perfect for someone who’s built QA programs and wants to influence how technology and clinical standards converge. This is a customer facing hourly retainer position with flexible engagement options (remote, hybrid, or on-site collaboration as needed).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of behavioral health experience, ideally as a licensed clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
  • Deep expertise in quality assurance, compliance, or utilization review with a record of measurable improvement in documentation or audit outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of payor requirements, accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, NCQA, Joint Commission), and Medicaid/commercial documentation frameworks.
  • Experience designing and scaling QA programs, including training, process improvement, and policy development.
  • Comfort with health tech and AI-enabled solutions; ability to translate clinical quality needs into operational or product requirements.
  • Collaborative, humble, and motivated by impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or leading QA programs in multi-site or virtual behavioral health organizations.
  • Background in auditing or compliance leadership at payers, EAPs, or behavioral health providers.
  • Familiarity with EMRs, audit software, and healthcare analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold documentation, compliance, and quality standards for behavioral health customers using Brellium.
  • Review and analyze provider documentation to ensure alignment with payer, regulatory, and clinical requirements.
  • Provide structured feedback and education to customer QA and clinical teams to drive consistent improvement.
  • Analyze large-scale audit data to uncover quality trends, risk areas, and training opportunities across provider networks.
  • Translate data insights into action plans and QA frameworks that elevate care consistency and compliance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Brellium’s product and data teams to ensure AI insights reflect current payer and accreditation standards.
  • Serve as the primary clinical quality liaison between Brellium and customer leadership teams.
  • Support change management initiatives — from revising QA workflows to designing training programs.
  • Represent the clinician’s perspective in product feedback, ensuring Brellium remains the trusted standard for real-time quality improvement.
