About The Position

Lead Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are responsible for organizing and maintaining data collection and statistical analysis systems for programs; conducting behavioral assessments and program implementation; directing clinical activities and staff/caregiver training. The Lead BCBA supervises BACB trainees within their workday to provide observations and guidance as trainees work within their Clinical Supervision Program. This position is a supervisory position for a master's or doctorate level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with PA Behavior Specialist Licensure. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Caseload Treatment Planning and Oversight · Carry a caseload of clients requiring in-person clinical oversight, including complex behavior presentations and multi-setting coordination. · Provide direct clinical oversight and supervision for ABA services delivered in home, school, community, and center settings. · Conduct assessments including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ABAS-3, and other tools as clinically indicated. · Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans (ITPs) and behavior support plans. Disseminate ITP to the treatment teams. · Complete quarterly treatment plan updates and any required clinical documentation. · Review client data and session documentation regularly and make treatment modifications at a minimum of every two weeks per client. · Meet at least the minimum billable requirements as listed in company policies. · Write and review session notes, IBHS supervision notes, and clinical documentation. Supervision, Training & Clinical Leadership · Provide direct supervision and training to Direct Therapists (BHTs, ABCs, IAs), and ABA Case Supervisors as assigned · Provide BCBA Supervision to clinical fieldwork trainees accruing supervision hours · Conduct in-person and telehealth supervision sessions, observations, and competency-based feedback. · Guide and train staff in the implementation of sessions, parent training, ABA methodologies. · Implement integrity checks and targeted supervision to address areas of clinical or procedural need. · Collaborate with Clinical Leadership and Administrative Teams as needed to ensure clinical processes are running smoothly and give feedback for improvements. Collaboration & Administrative Responsibilities · Attend scheduled supervision and leadership meetings, meeting with Clinical Director(s) at least two hours per month. · Maintain PA Behavior Specialist License (BSL) and BCBA certification. · Maintain CAQH and credentialing requirements and/or provide required information to Hummingbird ABA Therapy’s Billing team. · Maintain confidentiality and ethical decision-making in accordance with HIPAA, Pennsylvania IBHS-ABA regulations, and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. · Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with little notice dependent on client needs. WORK ENVIRONMENT This role may complete indirect hours from their home or Hummingbird ABA Office, with all HIPAA regulations being followed. Telehealth may be available to replace “face-to-face” interactions when allowed- this position includes up to 2 remote days per week. · ABA Case Supervisors are required to see clients in person at least 3 days per week in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, community locations, or Hummingbird ABA Therapy's Clinic. TRAVEL · Lead BCBAs may be required to travel up to 10% of the time with clients being no more than 40 minutes from office, within Centre County, PA.

Requirements

  • Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in ABA or related field
  • Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner. PA Behavior Specialist License (BSL) is preferred and will be required prior to starting date, but other PA licensure may be accepted initially in addition to the BCBA credential.
  • Certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Ability to read and analyze treatment plans. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries regarding clients and / or families.
  • Ability to document data and effectively consult with the lead clinician both verbally and in writing. Ability to transfer skills to the caregivers.
  • Ability to analyze behavioral data, identify trends, and recommend appropriate treatment modifications.
  • Ability to apply clinical judgment to complex situations and draw data-based conclusions.
  • Ability to use basic mathematical and analytical skills relevant to data interpretation and progress monitoring.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information in compliance with HIPAA and IBHS requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, families, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple clinical responsibilities systematically.
