  • Partners with Batching Supervisor to support daily activities of assigned shifts, ensuring product adheres to DrinkPAK’s & customers’ standards of safety, quality, and meeting production schedules.
  • Communicates with previous shift’s Lead regarding any challenges, opportunities, call outs or upcoming changes to prepare for the shift.
  • Assists with batching as needed and troubleshooting equipment and preparing for scheduled change-overs.
  • Utilizes the daily end of shift report to understand and support Supervisor with root cause analysis for low efficiency and downtime.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, and performance.
  • Drives Root-Cause Analysis to resolve production issues and create sustainable improvements.
  • Orders and inspects raw materials prior to changeovers to ensure correct inventories for production runs.
  • Performs first pass quality checks after changeovers to prevent non-conforming product.
  • Verifies inventory consumption by batch for traceability and ensures in-house inventory is correct.
  • Conducts walkthroughs throughout the shift and supports Supervisor, to ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping compliance by team members.
  • Interfaces with multiple departments within the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Collaborates with plant leadership and shift team members to champion a world-class safety culture.
  • Manages highly automated, complex manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promotes and encourages safe working practices.
  • Enforces Good Manufacturing Practices and other quality-related policies to meet product quality standards.
  • Should have knowledge about receiving ingredients, CIP blend tank, run mixer, perform all quality checks required during batching, staging and verification of received ingredients for batching.
  • Knowledge about using computer programs like Scale.
  • 6 months to 1 year in a similar position in Batching.
  • Understanding of production processes and controls.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
  • Clear experience initiating change and ability to utilize change management principles.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts when needed, holidays, and weekends required.
  • Ability to multi-functionally work between departments.
