The Lead Bartender provides general leadership and work direction of department team members. The Lead Bartender: Organizes and assigns work Prioritizes workload and assignments to ensure orderly and efficient completion by department employees Directs department employees in the successful completion of assigned work Enforces department and company rules Instructs and trains department employees in the successful performance of their duties and work direction duties as assigned by Supervision. Does not perform supervisory tasks such as scheduling, discipline, performance reviews, hiring or terminations; although they may provide input to supervisors regarding such matters. Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers and coworkers. Responsible for learning and being familiar with all outlets, Cashier functions, and for being able to answer general questions regarding the property. Provides superior guest service by positively affecting interactions with guests and team members. Informs guests of restaurant specials, feature items and personal favorites. Assists customers in the selection and purchase of menu items. Works in cooperation with other service personnel to provide a high quality of service. Prepares a variety of food & beverage orders according to established recipes and outlet standards. Accurately accounts for and collects payment for all drink orders through POS system in a timely manner. Ensures outlet is setup, maintained and stocked according to established standards, continuously making sure all areas are clean and organized. Uses and maintains all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner. Maintains complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, hours of operations, proper table set-up and dress code of the restaurant. Carries out duties with attention to detail, sanitation and safety. Ensures dining and serving areas are set up and maintained according to standard. Responsible for ensuring proper cleaning and storage of dishware, utensils and equipment at the end of the shift. Responsible for all day-to-day activities in work areas to maintain service, product quality and cashiering responsibilities. Maintains control of the kitchen and inform chefs if staffing levels are not appropriate based on business volumes. Assumes limited charge of kitchen on respective shifts. Assumes limited accountability of supervisors in their absence Coaches and directs Team Members to work in a productive and efficient manner. Is in constant communication with F&B Assistant Manager. Maintains a well-groomed, neat and clean appearance. Observes and adheres to Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage and cleanliness of work environment. Abides by all State, State Gaming, Federal and Corporate liquor Regulations. Also pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Participates in liquor glassware removal, ensuring compliance with all regulations, where applicable. Takes basic inventory, as needed. Passes all tests given including the training in order to retain the knowledge needed to be an effective team member. Ensures compliance with “R U 21” standards. Possesses the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and Possesses the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers. Performs all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines describes in the Standard Ensures consistent execution of company and department standards. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
