About The Position

Lead Bartender Job Summary The Lead Bartender delivers exceptional bar experiences while guiding the bar team through smooth, consistent service. You’ll craft high-quality beverages, set the tone behind the bar, and help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. This role blends hands-on service with leadership to keep the bar running efficiently and with intention. What You’ll Do Create a welcoming, energetic bar atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home. Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. Lead by example during service, ensuring high-quality execution, cleanliness, and adherence to all beverage standards. Assist with training bartenders and barbacks to uphold HCW’s service expectations and operational procedures. Maintain accurate inventory levels; complete regular counts and communicate needs proactively. Monitor bar profitability by reducing waste, controlling pours, and supporting cost-awareness across the team. Stay current on beverage trends and contribute creative ideas for new cocktails, menus, and specials. Build relationships with guests, handling concerns with professionalism and ensuring issues are resolved quickly. Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, safety policies, and sanitation procedures. Support smooth communication with the Food & Beverage Manager and service teams to enhance guest flow and service quality. Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel. What You Bring Mixology experience required, mixology certification preferred. Deep understanding of a cocktail lounge guest experience and service. Progressive hospitality leadership experience. Strong bartending experience with deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. A talent for creating memorable guest experiences and maintaining a warm, positive energy behind the bar. Leadership skills that show up in coaching, communication, and a calm presence during busy service periods. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Mixology experience required
  • Deep understanding of a cocktail lounge guest experience and service.
