The Lead Bartender & Morning Server at Burger Theory Katy Mills is a full-time role that combines responsibilities in both breakfast service and bartending. The position requires an energetic and passionate hospitality professional who can create memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. The role involves working during breakfast hours and transitioning to bartending in the evening, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Create an inviting breakfast experience by presenting dishes that delight the eyes and palate.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Keep supplies stocked and the work area organized.
  • Report equipment or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and use necessary protective gear.
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards as required by local regulations.
  • Assist with dishwashing and kitchen duties as needed.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and address any questions.
  • Wear your uniform with pride and be a positive team member.
  • Contribute to team efforts by taking on additional tasks as needed.
  • Craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
  • Take and serve food and drink orders while engaging with guests.
  • Recommend drinks and menu items based on customer preferences.
  • Mix and garnish classic and innovative cocktails with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized bar.
  • Ensure compliance with age verification and legal drinking regulations.
  • Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payments.
  • Keep the bar clean and sanitary at all times.
  • Foster a positive guest experience and maintain focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a server and/or bartender.
  • Excellent drink preparation and service skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Computer literacy; Aloha POS experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant training or certification in food and beverage service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of a second language (Spanish preferred).
  • TABC Certified (Preferred).
  • ServSafe (Preferred).
