About The Position

The Lead Barista will perform as a member of the management team for retail and facilities as assigned. The Lead Barista may also perform specific Store Manager duties and responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Administers and applies policies and procedure by Company Standards.
• Assists in effectively implementing company policy and procedures as they are developed.
• Effectively supervises subordinates.
• Responsible for completion of all Barista applications and functions.
• Must promote consistent customer service by all employees.
• Counsels and coaches subordinates to improve.
• Effectively monitor facility security policy/procedure and ensures compliance by all employees.
• Assists in ensuring the facility is adequately supplied with all equipment to operate efficiently.
• Will be responsible for departmental ordering and will ensure completion of this function is in compliance with ordering and inventory schedules.
• Assists with funds control and management.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, the Lead Barista will be responsible for the depositing of daily business and ensuring all accounting paperwork is forwarded to corporate offices in a timely manner.
• In the absence of the Store Manager or as assigned, the Lead Barista will be responsible for external transaction control and paid out funds allocation.
• Responsible for receipt of all payments and properly recording all transactions.
• Will ensure all products within assigned departments are adequately and effectively displayed.
• Responsible for overall presentation and shopability of the entire facility.
• Will promote, support, and participate in all management development programs implemented and developed by the company.
• Responsible for the continuous training of all subordinates referent to product knowledge.
• Will continuously promote and develop sales skills of all subordinates.
• Conducts any remedial training necessary to keep all subordinates proficient.
• Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager or Company Senior.
