Requirements

• Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Deal with problems involving several variables.
• Ability to balance cash drawer and exercise math and basic accounting skills.
• Read and understand instructions, safety rules, etc.
• Write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech.
• Speak with poise, voice control, and confidence, using correct English and well-modulated voice.
• Transcribing, entering, or posting data; talking with and/or signaling people to convey or exchange information, including giving assignments and or directions to helpers or assistants.
• Ability to speak and hear in English.
• Close and distance vision.
• Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• One year experience as a Barista.
• One year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Food Safety Certification

Responsibilities

• Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of the café associates to ensure prompt and courteous service to guests.
• Inspects café serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving.
• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and brand standards
• Open and close the coffee shop on schedule, ensuring proper setup for daily operations and adherence to closing procedures
• Accurately process all transactions using the Micros POS system, following cash-handling and accounting procedures .
• Model and enforce compliance with all company policies, procedures, and service standards
• Support team members on shift and assist with training or guidance as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
