About The Position

As the Lead Barista at Starbucks within Vdara, you'll take charge of maintaining the dining area and supervising your team of Baristas. You'll also handle overseeing opening or closing duties, ensuring all tasks align with Starbucks' and MGM Resorts standards. Requirements

• Experience as a food handler, counter attendant, fountain worker or cashier in a high-volume food establishment
• Familiarity with Starbucks operations, including mobile orders and specialty equipment like espresso machines is preferred
• Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to connect with guests and team members
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Baristas with training and guidance
• Use selling techniques to deliver excellent service for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Resolve guest concerns within your authority
• Take orders, serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment
• Unload and stock warehouse orders, ensuring supplies are organized and replenished
• Maintain cleanliness in both front and back of house areas, including clearing tables, counters, and keeping the dining area tidy for guest comfort
