The Lead Barback plays a key support role behind the bar, assisting bartenders with stocking supplies, mixing beverages, pouring beer, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. In addition to these responsibilities, the Lead Barback takes charge of training new team members, ensuring they are well-prepared to uphold high standards of efficiency and service. This position starts at $19.33/hr and increases to $19.91/hr at successful completion of a 90-day orientation period and features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits. EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED Bartending school preferred. EXPERIENCE: Six months experience as a Barback required Able to work well with customers and ability to train co-workers Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis The ability to carry up to 40 pounds Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard, and holidays All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
