About The Position

LEAD AVID ELECTIVE TEACHER/SITE COORDINATOR Reports To: Supervising Assistant Principal, Building Principal and AVID District Director Role Summary The AVID Elective Teacher is responsible for advocating and promoting academic success and equity for all students through the consistent implementation of the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework. This person will teach and promote college, career, and life skills and habits, enabling all students to be prepared for the next level and, eventually, higher education.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience
• Meet state licensing requirements
