About The Position

JST is seeking an experienced Lead Automated Assembly Maintenance Technician to support second shift operations. This role combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with leadership responsibilities, ensuring equipment reliability while guiding and supporting the maintenance team. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 4+ years experience in automated manufacturing maintenance
• 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
• Ability to stand and move throughout shift
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working around automated equipment

Nice To Haves

• Technical training in automation or mechatronics preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated assembly equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems)
• Perform preventative maintenance and changeovers
• Conduct first-piece inspections and pre-production checks
• Prioritize machine repairs to minimize downtime
• Maintain maintenance inventory and coordinate parts needs
• Enter maintenance records into CMMS
• Lead and support maintenance technicians on shift
• Promote safety and 5S standards
