About The Position

The incumbent in this position is responsible for reviewing and processing source data to provide accurate and timely entry to accounting systems and sub-systems. Qualifications THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties) Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Virgin Hotels Las Vegas' standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working Always comply with Virgin Hotels' standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations Be nice to each other and always maintain a friendly and warm demeanor Teammates must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow Team Members Respond effectively to guest inquiries in a timely fashion. Experience or college courses in an associated field helpful Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of computers by operating basic applications (Windows, Microsoft Outlook, spreadsheets, etc.). Possess a working knowledge of basic office equipment Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc., from various disparate sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the need Ability to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S Willingness to cross-train in other accounting or hotel related areas Second language THE WORKING CONDITIONS Sedentary work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects unaided Communicate clearly in verbal and written English Bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space to perform cleaning, organization, and other duties Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, smoke, light (including flashing lights), and sound.
