BevChain is seeking a Lead Auditor to deliver a dedicated, national audit function across our subcontractor network. This role is critical in ensuring BevChain meets its Chain of Responsibility (CoR), remuneration, regulatory, and contractual obligations. You will be responsible for conducting structured audits of subcontractor businesses, identifying and closing compliance gaps, and providing clear assurance to the business, customers, and regulators. This is a hands‑on auditing role, suited to someone who is confident operating independently, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering high‑quality audit outcomes in a complex transport environment. While the role is advertised as being based at Auburn NSW, we’re open to candidates located at any of our operational sites in VIC or QLD.

Requirements

  • A formal audit qualification (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in remuneration auditing, including reviewing payslips, payments and hours worked
  • Knowledge of Fair Work Australia requirements and evidence standards
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence producing evidence‑based audit reports
  • Experience using compliance or audit systems, with the ability to manage data entry and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience auditing within transport, logistics or heavy vehicle environments (highly regarded)
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations under HVNL (advantageous)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct CoR and remuneration audits across BevChain’s subcontractor network
  • Perform reasonable enquiry to verify compliance with HVNL, Fair Work, and ATO requirements
  • Identify non‑conformances and drive timely closure of audit actions
  • Deliver pre-audit education to subcontractors on compliance expectations
  • Maintain accurate audit records and provide regular compliance reporting
  • Partner with Compliance, Safety, and Operations teams to ensure consistent national outcomes
  • Support customer and regulatory assurance through strong audit governance
