About The Position

The Lead Assortment Planner for Jordan Energy in APLA drives the creation and execution of seasonal Jordan Energy assortments that balance consumer demand, financial targets, and marketplace strategies. You will build and manage seasonal assortment plans, developing bottom-up forecasts, and optimize inventory to maximize brand revenue across territories. You will own critical planning tools and processes—including Workbench, Airtable, SAP, and QS Allocations—ensuring timely, accurate submissions for seasonal gates and code gate milestones. Leveraging advanced analytics and Excel, you will monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. Success depends on strong cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Marketplace, and Global/Territory teams to align on and continuously adjust plans to drive assortment strategies and seasonal priorities. This role is heavily collaborative, working with cross-functional APLA teams in Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Business and Inventory Planning. You will also work closely with the Jordan Energy team across Territory and Global.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in business planning, assortment planning, merchandise planning or equivalent experience
  • Retail Planning Expertise: Strong understanding of assortment planning, inventory management, and retail financial metrics
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling); experience with planning systems (SAP, o9, Workbench) preferred
  • Operational Mindset: Ability to manage complex seasonal calendars, code gates, and planning deliverables with precision
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
