About The Position

As a Lead Asset Designer at Maxon, you will be responsible for setting the visual direction for asset packs that assist artists in achieving their best work. This role involves creating promotional renders, writing creative briefs, and collaborating with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure the quality and consistency of the asset library. You will also stay ahead of creative trends to keep the offerings fresh and relevant for a global community of artists.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Art Director or Asset Designer, focusing on architectural visualization or motion graphics.
• Exceptional design sensibility with a strong eye for composition, color, lighting, and detail.
• Experience in developing mood boards, style guides, and asset packs that blend creativity with technical excellence.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback that drives quality and cohesion across creative teams.
• Familiarity with Maxon products like Cinema 4D, Redshift, ZBrush, and Red Giant.

Nice To Haves

• A formal degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Animation, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Set the visual tone for Capsules Packs through mood boards, style guides, and briefs.
• Identify studios and artists for collaboration or licensing existing packs to scale the library.
• Collaborate with creative teams to craft stunning stills and animations showcasing assets.
• Provide clear actionable feedback to align WIP assets with the creative vision.
• Support marketing efforts by developing visually compelling promotional materials for Capsules releases.
