MANUFACTURING Rocket Lab’s Manufacturing team are the builders and the doers who work with our advanced machinery across our global manufacturing sites to get our satellites, satellite components, and rockets out the door. They bring the designs of our engineers to life by using advanced manufacturing techniques like 3D printing to create our hardware and are responsible for delivering our projects and missions on time and on budget to our customers. LEAD ASSEMBLY, INTEGRATION & TEST TECHNICIAN Based out of Rocket Lab's Headquarters in Long Beach, California the Lead Avionics Manufacturing Technician primary objective is to support the team to working efficiently, safely and to the required quality standard, managing resources, constraints and tools. When daily support tasks are complete, it is expected any other time is invested in continuous improvement, staying competent on skills, focusing on improving the team’s capabilities and processes by such things as, training, waste elimination and process failure mode elimination activities. A Lead needs to remain technically competent on all processes with the department in order to be the primary technical trainer and provide input on process improvements, new product introduction and quality investigations with the technician’s perspective.
