About The Position

In the role of Lead Architect-Microservices, you will be responsible for defining Navitaire's microservices reference and transition architectures, which are crucial for enabling enterprise-scale application modernization. This position requires close collaboration with product engineering teams and technology platform teams to establish effective governance structures. You will also work alongside business domain architects to develop modernization roadmaps that align with our strategic goals. Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including Engineering, Technology, Security, Operations, Delivery, and Business teams, are essential to drive value-driven decisions and outcomes. As a Lead Architect, you will provide leadership to Navitaire's Engineering community by spearheading key modernization initiatives. You will develop detailed microservice reference architectures that define integration patterns and communication protocols. Additionally, you will engage in hands-on prototyping of solutions to demonstrate value and vision, while ensuring that operational and security standards are met in collaboration with relevant teams. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our technology landscape and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the travel industry.
