About The Position
VCU Administrative Systems Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Applications Banner Analyst to join the team. The position involves coding, testing, documenting, and debugging programs used in Banner, ODS, Real Source, BOA, ADP, PageUp, Cornerstone and/or related systems for administrative processing. The analyst will troubleshoot and resolve production data and processing issues, use the Unix job scheduler to schedule processes and email job status notices, consult and coordinate with other technical staff, and maintain the security and confidentiality of University data. Languages/platforms being used include SQL (SQL PLUS, PL/SQL, SQL LOADER); TOAD, UNIX Shell Scripting, Git/BitBucket, repositories, Automic/UC4; object-oriented - Java, IntelliJ IDE, Pro C; HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML XSL. The role also includes supervising a team of Banner Applications Analysts and performing other duties as assigned.
