About The Position

The Lead Applications Analyst, HR Technologies role is responsible for developing and delivering technology-related initiatives that support FBIN HR function. The incumbent is responsible for the design, development and support of reliable, accurate, cost-effective, secure technology solutions including any customization, configurations and integrations. These systems will include FBIN Enterprise SaaS HR Technology applications - Workday, Smart Recruiters, Glint, Kronos Workforce Dimensions and their integrations into external benefits, payroll, learning management, talent management, performance management systems and other FBIN internal applications - Okta, BOX, OneDrive, SharePoint etc. This individual must apply strategic and creative thinking, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of our HR IT system investments.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years hands-on, technology work experience in HR systems.
  • Functional HR knowledge and/or Workday Certification will be a plus.
  • Strong Workday technical knowledge including building integrations from/to Workday and other external 3rd party/internal systems.
  • Proven experience as a Workday Integration Developer or similar role with extensive hands-on knowledge of building best-practice based integrations using Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Integration Cloud etc.
  • Strong understanding of integration design and development principles.
  • Data analysis skills to identify what data the business currently has, what data needs to be carried over to a new system and what data needs to be constructed.
  • Data cleansing knowledge in scrubbing current state data for future state data and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with agile development principles and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical ideas in a business-friendly manner.

Responsibilities

  • Leads initiatives to analyze business (HR Tech) problems to be solved with technology-based solutions.
  • Advises business and IT groups by providing technical directions to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio and/or other associated Workday technologies.
  • Develop Workday integrations ensuring accurate and secure endpoint data delivery and data synchronizations among enterprise systems or third-party cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into functional solutions, fulfill project requests through configuration changes and/or enhancements to Workday and any peripheral systems.
  • Coordinate with internal FBIN IT, Business, third-party and vendor providers to gather business requirements, develop complex integrations, monitor integration health, and lead functional troubleshooting with business departments to ensure smooth Workday operations.
  • Independently lead biannual Workday feature release testing, collaborating with functional users and steering committees to define needs, implement, test, deploy, train, and monitor the performance of enterprise-managed systems to ensure smooth production transitions.
  • Take overall technology ownership and lead the strategic planning, architecture, design, development, deployment and support of integrations from/to HR Applications, and any required enhancements to existing applications.
  • Work in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Integration team to ensure architectural principles are adhered to.
  • Ensure relevant cybersecurity controls, backup and DR plans are effectively implemented, updated and maintained for all HR applications under purview.
  • Ensure solutions provide consistent IT building blocks to effectively integrate with other functional business areas, while promoting standardization and integration across the FBIN Enterprise Applications suite.
  • Report on status of ongoing prioritized projects to HR and IT leadership.
  • Produce high quality documentation for requirements, solution options, business cases, and recommending optimum solutions.
  • Manage enhancement requests, testing requirements during implementation, acceptance, installation, and deployment of solution.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize various reports, integrations and interfaces using SQR, Application Engines, and Component Interfaces.
  • Collaborate with associates in other business functions and/or divisions as necessary on projects and tasks.
