About The Position

The Lead Application Engineer is to provide product engineering support to the marketing team for both internal and external customers and support for all voltage regulator marketing initiatives. The Engineer will support International and domestic regions. In this role you will: Delivers production application training to Inside Sales, Sales Agents/Reps, and customers Act as a key liaison for technical product support, addressing specifications, test requirements, and customer inquiries while building strong relationships through industry meetings, site visits, and plant tours. Provide product training to internal teams and customers, and support Product Specialists with pricing strategies informed by market feedback and competitive analysis Contribute to marketing and NPD efforts by gathering Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, assessing trends, and supporting promotional activities including presentations, publications, and training seminars Serve as a cross-functional link among engineering, marketing, scheduling, and customers, maintaining knowledge of industry standards (ANSI, IEEE, CSA, NEMA) relevant to transformers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering or Business
  • Seven (7) years of experience in technical marketing, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • One (1) year of experience using SAP.
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make oneself understood in Spanish.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SAP or other ERP related system and the ability to utilize such tools to analyze data and solve routine problems.
