From a technical perspective, experience with LIS, preferably Sunquest or Epic, but not required, along with laboratory middleware, system implementation, and ongoing support. From a leadership perspective, experience with leading multidisciplinary team, including varying levels and interactions with technical and application resources.   • Provides guidance and leadership to the team of analysts.

  • Demonstrates the ability to manage of an analyst team, developing appropriate methodologies, preparation of weekly reports and to provide technical supervision of questions of analysis to data analysts.
  • Coordinate the work of data analysts to ensure a timely issuance of products reviewed by other analysts.
  • Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications within the Cooper Health system.
  • Analyze system requirements and determine system functional specifications
  • Gather requirements, provide fit gap analysis and create effective technical solutions for the business needs.
  • Design, validate and confirm new or changed functionality with the supported application environment that meets customer specifications.
  • Provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as part of application requirement gathering.
  • Provide consulting support for customized implementation and installation of the software and related integration elements.
  • Lead large groups to make key decisions.
  • Work closely with business users and application team to design, build and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts.
  • Training new team members of the team
  • Demonstrated ability to Work with cross functional teams and Cooper clients by providing education on system functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the application.
  • Coordinating the analysis, development of new functionality, testing and implementing scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects.
  • Ensure the creation and maintainence of all necessary documentation and training materials for application implementation and changes.
  • Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols
  • Create and maintain all documentation for all assigned applications
  • Develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications
  • Communicates all necessary application changes, enhancements, and procedures to all necessary internal department teams.
  • Must demonstrate basic skills with process improvement and project management.
  • Must be able to function as part of a team providing a high level of quality service to clients.
  • Maintain support documentation, service desk routing, and knowledge base entries.
  • Create and maintain test scripts in support of new installations, projects, and/or system updates.
  • Assist with the administrative, technical, and customer-facing duties surrounding the successful project implementation of system updates and changes.
  • Understand end-user workflow.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts and technical support.
  • Perform on-call duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational core values.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and supervise projects and personnel required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
  • Certification in applicable application or system is strongly preferred
