As an experienced Lead API Developer, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. The Project aims to develop an AI-driven healthcare engineering platform that integrates advanced machine learning and data analytics to improve patient outcomes. You will lead the design of scalable, secure and high performance RESTful and/or GraphQL and AI-enabled APIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor API performance, and architect AI/ML models for predictive analytics and patient risk scoring.

  • Lead the design of scalable, secure and high performance RESTful and/or GraphQL and AI-enabled APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Monitor API performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Architect and deploy AI/ML models for predictive analytics and patient risk scoring.
  • Work closely with product managers and data scientists to align technical solutions with healthcare needs.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers and project team members.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs using microservice architecture.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience deploying and managing APIs on major cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and utilizing containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience architecting and deploying AI/ML models within API frameworks, with a strong preference for experience in predictive analytics or patient risk scoring in healthcare environments.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience monitoring API performance, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with healthcare data standards (such as HL7, FHIR) and understanding of regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA compliance) is highly desirable.
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
