Lead Anesthesia Technicians are responsible for facilitating the daily activities of the anesthesia department including daily shift staffing plans. Performs various technical and supportive duties under the supervision of anesthesia personnel. Maintains each OR site with appropriate anesthesia machines, drugs, and supplies; monitors patient equipment and cleans and disinfects routine anesthesia workstations and equipment. Assists anesthesia personnel as needed to provide efficient and safe patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• ASATT certification or equivalent experience is preferred
• 2-3 years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech

Responsibilities

• Assists in management functions within the department as assigned
• Assists with staffing plan to assure adequate coverage for daily operations
• Assists with coordination of regular team meetings and ongoing communication and status updates related to departmental projects and process improvement initiatives
• Participates in leadership team meetings
• Performs various technical and supportive duties under the supervision of anesthesia personnel
• Maintains each OR site with appropriate anesthesia machines, drugs, and supplies
• Monitors patient equipment and cleans and disinfects routine anesthesia workstations and equipment
• Assists anesthesia personnel as needed to provide efficient and safe patient care
