About The Position

Big O Tires in Golden is aggressively building sales volumes. We are now accepting applications and setting up interviews for a LEAD AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS and B- LEVEL AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS. Qualified applicants for Lead Tech will have at least 5 years experience, be a team player and mentor as well as a leader, and possess solid customer relations skills. As an additional incentive at this time we are offering a $3,000.00 signing bonus to be paid in installments at 6 months and 1 year of employment. Big O Tires is Colorado's largest provider of automotive service, including brakes, steering, suspension, alignments, oil changes and preventative maintenance services. POSITION SUMMARY As an Automotive Service Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform service, maintenance and specialized installations associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner. From flat tires and oil changes to rotor resurfacing and that weird clunking sound you’ve been hearing for a week, there are a lot of Big Oh Nos for your car. Luckily, Big O Tires has the Big O Yes for all of them. For over 50 years, our customers have trusted us to offer straight answers and reliable service. Big O Tires offers a wide range of diagnostic, repair and routine maintenance services, backed by one of the best national services warranties in the business. Most Big O Tires stores are individually owned and operated by franchisees, and each franchisee makes the staffing and hiring decisions for the individual location(s). However, the Big O franchisees are always looking for new faces with experience and desire to serve Big O Tires store customers. This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. Requirements

Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
Reliable transportation to work
Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions
Complies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations
Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift
Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
