Summary: The Lead Analyst, DPS E2E Planning is responsible for E2E planning for assigned portfolio within Depuy Synthes Spine including NPI Planning, Demand and Supply Planning and inventory optimization, and is responsible for is responsible for attaining the global key performance indicators including forecast accuracy (MAPE, BIAS), Inventory dollars and Customer service (OTIF / BO) for Spine Business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Commercial/Marketing, Finance, and/or Operations
  • Strong data analytical skills using a range of platforms
  • Ability to analyze large data sets from multiple sources and identify key patterns
  • Ability to interpret data and provide analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the enterprise
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Up to 30% travel may be required as business demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Alteryx or other data analytical packages preferred
  • Planning experience is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems is preferred
  • APICS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the complex end to end Supply Chain Flows.
  • Coordinate with regions on demand and supply planning elements of assigned portfolios
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, including scenario planning to proactively identify risks and opportunities to all aspects of E2E supply chain planning.
  • Identify E2E plan imbalances through exception-based and scenario planning to optimize service, cost, and inventory.
  • Conduct complex assessment of the multi-echelon impact of supply disruptions and recommend prioritized actions to resolve and balance all relevant trade-offs.
  • Lead End-to-End planning optimization and synchronization of the portfolio and key strategic brands across demand, supply, and inventory.
  • Communicate risks, opportunities, trade-offs and scenarios while driving decisions to support business goals through Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Contributes to components of projects, programs, or processes for the end-to-end planning area.
  • Partner with Commercial, regional supply chain teams, planning functions, Finance, the E2E Supply Chain team, and Value Stream leaders.
  • Lead and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) PLAN process and collaborate with cross functional team to ensure flawless execution and successful product launches.
  • Report on NPI project status, revenue projections and overall launch calendar during IBP.
  • Effective communication with a wide group of stakeholders
  • Coach more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team
