This position as a Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration Engineer involves accelerating the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions across the Indo-Pacific Theater, working closely with senior leadership at USINDOPACOM Headquarters. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic guidance to enhance warfighting readiness and decision superiority.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience deploying, implementing, or integrating AI/ML tools in DoD or U.S. Government environments.
• Familiarity with DoD operational missions and planning processes.
• Proven track record of integrating systems of systems in defense contexts.
• Deep understanding of cross-domain solution architectures.
• Experience with Agentic AI concepts applied to military use cases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML integration efforts in support of USINDOPACOM Headquarters.
• Facilitate identification, refinement, and implementation of high-impact AI/ML use cases.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance on AI/ML capabilities for mission planning and operational decision-making.
• Ensure unity of effort and synchronize AI/ML-related activities across the command.
• Partner with DoD service providers to shape a regional framework for AI/ML deployment.
• Develop and deliver tailored AI/ML training programs for staff and leadership.
• Align AI/ML implementation with operational and technical objectives across USINDOPACOM.
• Conduct operational, performance, and vulnerability assessments for command leadership.
