The Opportunity Seeking experienced Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. The Practice Howard University Hospital – Washington, D.C. Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Primary Stroke Center. Up to 150-bed facility with a 19-bed Emergency Department with a dedicated Pediatric Care Area. Annual ED volume of approximately 50,000 with a 13%25 admit rate. The nation’s only teaching hospital located on the campus of a historically Black university. Washingtonian and Black Enterprise magazines have identified physicians affiliated with the hospital as leaders in a vast range of specialties. Requirements

Previous leadership in Emergency Department is required.
Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.

Nice To Haves

Current D.C. state license is a plus.
Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
