About The Position

Provides advanced clinical care in collaboration with attending cardiologists while also serving as the primary clinical and administrative leader for the cardiology APP team. The position encompasses direct patient care, program development, staff mentorship, quality improvement and operational oversight within inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Must have a Master's degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
• Credentialed by the State to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• Board certification in area of specialty is required.
• Must maintain current AHA BLS or higher certification.
• Providers in acute care must obtain AHA ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Prescriptive authority is required.
• Valid DEA number must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care in collaboration with attending cardiologists.
