Professional

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is
seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join North Jersey
Thoracic Surgical Associates. This nationally ranked and expanding service line
offers a collaborative practice environment with experienced thoracic surgeons
and a high volume of cases. The Lead Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
will support both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities at
Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, and a satellite office in
Clark, NJ. The role is outpatient, with additional inpatient rounding.

The Lead APP functions in a clinical and administrative capacity with a team of
7 Advanced Practice Professionals. Responsibilities include leading clinical
education initiatives, creating work schedules, and training new team members.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm with
additional weekend coverage.

anesthesiology specialists, nurses, care managers and other health care
professionals who provide the most progressive surgical methods using the latest
technology. This includes minimally invasive surgery programs that result in
shorter hospital stays and faster recoveries. In addition, Morristown Medical
Center is home to and a state-of-the-art bio skills simulation laboratory that
is accredited by the American College of Surgeons for additional staff training.
