About The Position

As a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain Engineering team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain methods and processes in the manufacture and fabrication of Aerospace Wheel & Braking Systems. The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will be the technical team leader for Carbon Processing, W&B (Machining, Post-Processing, and Assy), and Linings Value Streams and be responsible for providing process, project, and product ownership related to manufacturing producibility and capability. Using your technical background, you will develop and execute ISC roadmap plans and lead other disciplines to accomplish program objectives. You will also contribute to ISC related proposal efforts and own project execution to address future business opportunities, value engineering, productivity improvements and program/process changes. You will be recognized by business management and site leadership as a primary focal point for communication status with functional leaders. You will report directly to our ISC Operations Manager and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location on an On-site work schedule. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain methods and processes in the manufacture and fabrication of Aerospace Wheel & Braking Systems.
