About The Position

As a Lead Advanced Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to install, commission, program, and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS) in various facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our systems operate efficiently, providing safe and comfortable environments for building occupants. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Richardson, TX location. In this role, you will impact the operational efficiency and reliability of our building automation systems, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in field service engineering, specifically with Building Management Systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in BMS technologies and protocols.
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting BMS software and hardware.
  • Experience with installation and commissioning of building automation systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in building automation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of systems such as ComfortPoint AND Niagara, Honeywell EBI.
  • HVAC experience (required) Electrical experience /certification an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and solutions.
