About The Position

The Global Data Foundations team sits within the Global Planning Analytics group at Converse. The Team is responsible for propelling Converse Planning + Analytics forward by building and maintaining best-in-class data products in partnership with the Converse Technology Team. Data plays a crucial role in all our operations at Converse! We are searching for a top candidate for Lead, Advanced Analytics, to join the Converse Global Planning Analytics team. We are seeking passionate individuals who thrive on tackling challenging business problems and are eager to make a significant impact with data-driven insights. You have a solid foundation in technical skills and are comfortable collaborating with various teams to understand problems and effectively communicate results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics/Statistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in a for-profit business; ex. Retail consumer brand, or fashion lifestyle brand.
  • Experience with data visualization tools as well as BI solutions like Tableau, Sigma, PowerBI, etc.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience querying, accessing and working with data in multiple formats.
  • Experience building and implementing machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.
  • Strong drive to address business challenges through simple, efficient, and automated solutions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Agile approach to developing and deploying solutions.
  • Value collaboration and prioritize working effectively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and shape high-value analytical questions, then design pragmatic, scalable solutions to solve the biggest business problems.
  • Harmonize data products and definitions across Global and Geos (in partnership with Technology) so teams can make faster and better decisions.
  • Harness our data in the most efficient way to elevate planning outcomes and guide both seasonal plans and multi-year strategies.
  • Land insights with clear storytelling for technical and non-technical audiences, enabling confident decision-making and tracking impact over time.
