LEAD ADMISSIONS REP/REGISTRAR @ HENDERSON (FT NIGHTS)
About The Position
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Desert View Hospital, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital and West Henderson Hospital. 150 beds A 37-bay emergency department Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites. Endoscopy suites Cardiac catheterization labs An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders. Inpatient nursing care units. Job Description: Responsible for providing support to department and incoming patients of his/her representative and records information required for admission.
Requirements
- Shift: FULL TIME NIGHTS
- Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital admitting office or physician office preferred.
- Technical Skills: Computer proficiency to include word processing and patient accounting system
- License/Certification: None
- Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient. Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
