About The Position

At The Learning Experience®, we make early education joyful, engaging, and meaningful for both children and teachers. Our Lead Teachers are passionate educators who bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life, helping every child build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our Hudson Yards team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience working with toddlers or preschoolers preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Toddler classroom with creativity, structure, and warmth.
• Implement The Learning Experience® L.E.A.P. Curriculum® aligned with age-appropriate milestones.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding classroom activities and child progress.
• Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure consistent classroom excellence.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and center policies.
