The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. As the FBM LE2 Propulsion Proposal Lead, located in either Englewood, CO or Titusville, FL, you will be responsible for leading a portion of a $10B proposal that spans the missile system design from PDR to CDR. In this role you will lead our team in shaping the prime Request for Proposal and then leading the team in BOEs, Supplier RFPs, and technical volumes. As proposal lead you will be the primary representative for the LE2 Propulsion IPT in all proposal efforts and will utilize the Propulsion team's expertise in the technical design to shape the proposal response.

Requirements

  • Experience in proposal response, examples of specific experience are generating Basis of Estimates (BOE), Supplier Statement of Works (SOW), and Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM)
  • Ability to communicate effectively across organizations and leadership to include Government leaders and subcontractors
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated leadership and initiative
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance, and successfully pass a drug and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Cost Model / Long Range Planning
  • Missile and/or aerospace related education or experience
  • Experience in Government Request For Proposal (RFP) response
  • Engineering background or experience leading an engineering team as a project lead/CAM
  • Experience in areas of cost analysis, schedule, and risk & opportunity management
  • Understanding of material identification (amount of material we need to procure, generate Bill of Material (BOM))

Responsibilities

  • Supports change proposals on current LE2 contract if impacted, including pre-work under what-ifs
  • Translation of IMS, Cost Model and BOD outcomes for FY28+ Proposal scope
  • Draft RFP content - PRAM (as applicable to IPT)
  • IPT specific BOEs (author and owner in genBOE)
  • IPT Engineering subcontracts efforts (RFP/SOW creation, Tech Evals, etc.)
  • Updates to applicable Technical Plans
  • GFX Forms
  • Support color teams and INAR (inputs/mtgs as required)
